After a cardiac event, most men become anxious.
Anxiety can include:
- Constant worrying
- Tension or trouble relaxing or sleeping
- Feeling that something terrible will happen
- Excessive fear
- Overexcitement (tightness in the chest, palpitations, trembling, excessive sweating)
- Feelings of detachment or surrealism
- Sweaty or tingling hands
